Vodafone Wholesale Ghana triumphs at the Global Carrier Awards

Vodafone Wholesale Ghana has won the award for Best African Product or Service at the prestigious Global Carrier Awards in Amsterdam.
The 13 member Global Carrier Award Judging Panel made of Senior Business Executives; Consultants & Business Journalists from across the global noted that “Vodafone Wholesale Ghana has made a significant contribution to West African connectivity this year following the completion of a 120km fibre-optic interconnectivity project between Ghana and Northern Togo’’.
The completion of the 120km fibre-optic interconnectivity by Vodafone Wholesale Ghana means Ghana is now fully connected to Togo and Burkina Faso and confirms the company’s dedication to meeting the capacity needs of the West African Sub-Region.
Jhamb Vivek, Director Northern Europe & North Atlantic for Vodafone Carrier Services, who received the award on behalf of Vodafone Wholesale Ghana, congratulated the Ghana team and said he hoped the Best African Product or Service would go a long way to boosting Ghana’s economy as the country becomes the hub for distributing internet capacity.
