Ghana’s second largest mobile phone operator, Vodafone, has launched the 2014 edition of its flagship talent recruitment program, Discover, to unearth and develop young graduates from various Universities across the country.
Under this program graduates with minimum of a second class upper degree in any discipline from recognized universities across the country are invited by Vodafone to submit their application for consideration to join the program
In statement issued and copied to Biztechafrica in Accra, the Human Resource Director at Vodafone, Stella Agyenim Boateng, noted that graduates will go through a 12 month programme that will further develop their skill and hone their talents.
The Vodafone Discover Graduate program was introduced 2011 to shape the career path of young graduates who are passionate about innovation and excellence. It will also provide them with hand on experience in a variety of roles across the business to improve their overall knowledge and performance.
One of the previous beneficiaries of the program who has since been employed full time, Mercy Smart Abbey, was excited about the world class training experience.
Graduates after the 12 months of training and development, stand a chance of competing for the Vodafone Columbus programme where selected applicants get the opportunity to work abroad in any of the Vodafone operating countries.
It noted that interested applicants must be 25 years or less and must have completed their national service. Candidates can apply online at www.discover.vodafone.com.gh. All applications and CV must be submitted by June 14, 2014
