Tanzanian Prime Minister Bernard Makuza highlighted investment opportunities in the country during the 9th annual Africa Investment Forum in Dar Es Salaam this week.
He reaffirmed the commitment by East African Community partner states to work together to achieve a single business destination.
The two-day forum, attended by around 900 delegates, focused on: “
Accelerating investment in East Africa and increasing access to a market of a billion people”
.
Makuza dismissed questions about telecommunications challenges in the region, highlighting instead its willingness to fight corruption and create an environment conducive to business.
