Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 To Get Bigger Screens and Better Battery Life
The upcoming foldable smartphones are expected to be a minor update over their predecessors. Rumours suggest that the Z Fold 6 will have a boxier design, in tune with the S24 Ultra, and a wider cover screen, while the Z Flip 6 gets a bigger battery.
The devices will feature several AI features that were introduced with the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra like personalized summaries, circle to search, transcript assist, handsfree assist, AI digital zoom, and photo and video editing, among others.
The Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 will be powered by the all-new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The former is expected to come with 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of internal storage and 8GB or 16GB of memory, and the latter could get 256GB and 512GB with the same RAM specifications.
Reports speculate that the phones could cost an extra $100, with the Z Fold 6 expected to start from $1,899 and the Z Flip 6 costing $1,099. Last year’s Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 cost $1,799 and $999, respectively.
Samsung to Announce Galaxy Buds 3, Galaxy Watch 7, and Galaxy Ring on July 10th

Leaks have shown that the upcoming Galaxy Buds 3 gets a stem-based design, making them look somewhat identical to Apple’s AirPods. Samsung could have added the stem to increase internal space for additional sensors and a larger battery.
The Watch 7 is expected to remain unchanged on the design front, but Samsung could unveil a more premium smartwatch, akin to the Apple Watch Ultra. While the name of the new Galaxy Watch model remains a mystery, it is likely to sport a much sturdier design with improved water and dust resistance.
The Galaxy Ring wearable is a smart ring that is designed to read the user’s health metrics more accurately. The device is set to feature haptic sensors that can be used to control various functions on Galaxy devices and sensors that can read heartbeat and measure blood oxygen levels.
The Galaxy Unpacked event will be live-streamed on the Samsung website and its official YouTube channel on July 10th at 9 AM Eastern time (ET).
