Samsung Electronics appoints Comztek as strategic SADC distributor

Comztek and Samsung Electronics have signed an agreement which sees Comztek appointed as a key distributor in the SADC region for Samsung Electronics Office Automation and IT products, solutions and equipment.
The agreement will enable Comztek resellers to source the entire range of Samsung office automation and IT products with immediate effect. Countries covered by the agreement include: Namibia, Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Angola, Swaziland, Lesotho, Malawi and Mozambique.
“Samsung believes wholeheartedly in delivering business and consumer-centric solutions, not only in terms of the remarkable and relevant products we develop, but also in respect to ensuring they are conveniently accessible to all our customers,” says Pamila Sewnarain, head of IT/OA Exports at Samsung Electronics.
“By appointing Comztek as a strategic distributor in these countries, we can continue to innovate and grow in the African region – ensuring we have a reliable distribution partner to meet the growing needs of our customer base. We look forward to a fruitful relationship with Comztek going forward.”
The products that form part of the Samsung Electronics portfolio, and which customers will have immediate access to include: Samsung notebooks, netbooks, printers, consumables, monitors, large format displays, hotel TVs and thin clients.
According to Tiens Lange, group hardware manager at Comztek: “The addition of the Samsung brand to our portfolio will enable our resellers to significantly bolster their offerings to their customers. All customers in these regions looking to add the Samsung brand in their workplace will now simply have to identify a Comztek reseller in their region and they will be able to start enjoying the quality of the Samsung range.
