NCC seeks to reclaim 2.5GHz spectrum

Nigeria’s NCC is working to reclaim unused spectrum in the 2.5GHz band for broadband use.
Nigerian Communications Commission executive commissioner Bashir Gwandu says the 2.5GHz spectrum is held by the national broadcaster and may not be being used efficiently.
He said the commission was working to retrieve some of this spectrum for broadband use and that positive results were expected soon.
