Namibian union members will soon get access to mobile payment services from Namibia’s second mobile payment provider.
Around 200,000 members of NUNW-affiliated unions will benefit from the system, created by Nam-mic Financial Services Holdings (NFSH), part of the Capricorn Investment Holdings Limited (CIH) group.
The solution, called Cellcard, will be issued to union members as membership cards and debit cards. Cellphones can be linked to the Cellcard accounts, to allow for e-wallet services.
