Friends of the MTN Foundation in Cameroon have donated a substantial amount of basic necessities including Braille papers, bed sheets and foodstuff, to Saint Joseph’s Children and Adult Home (SAJOCAH) Bafut in the North West Region.
SAJOCAH was created in 1976 and is a Catholic Rehabilitation Centre situated at Mambu-Bafut approximately 8 kilometers away from Bamenda in the North West Region of Cameroon. The Centre is run by the Tertiary Sisters of St. Francis offers amongst others, temporary housing for patients and their caregivers, patient assessment, intensive physical therapy, classes for the blind, job and skills training. It currently caters for the needs of 70 adults and children.
Through this action that will address several fundamental problems faced by these people, Friends of the MTN Foundation in the North West Region renew their commitment to contribute towards the welfare of communities.
The MTN Foundation Friends’ Club gathers MTN employees who have accepted to voluntarily sacrifice their time to support the activities of the MTN Foundation on the field. The Club currently has 344 members.
