User do not usually reset their devices. However, there are situations where you should reset your device. Resetting your device will wipe out your complete data. It is important to back up your data before resetting your device. The resetting process is very simple for Samsung Galaxy S24.
Why Resetting Samsung Galaxy S24?
Resetting your Samsung Galaxy will return your device to its original settings. If your device has any issues, resetting will help you resolve them. All your data will be wiped off after resetting your device. Any issues with the network will also be resolved with resetting.
How to reset Samsung Galaxy S24?
You can reset your Samsung Galaxy S24 in simple steps. There are two ways you can reset your device: internally and externally.
Internal Reset
To reset internally, go to your phone’s settings menu. In the setting menu, you will see a ‘General management’ option, click the option. At the bottom of the next window, you will see the ‘reset’ option. Simply click on the reset option. Where you can reset your phone’s settings, network settings, accessibility settings, and finally a ‘factory data reset’. Factory data reset will completely reset your device including network, accessibility, and normal settings.
In the next window, you will see a ‘reset’ option, click on the option. Clicking the ‘Delete all’ option from the upcoming window will delete all the information contained in your device. It will take a while to complete the reset. After completing the reset, your phone will automatically restart. You have to follow the instructions appearing on your screen to set up your Samsung Galaxy S24 device.
External Reset
To perform a factory reset, your device should be charged to at least 25%. If your phone doesn’t have enough charge, you will not be able to perform the factory reset. After ensuring that your phone has enough charge, turn off your device.
Press and hold the power button and the volume up button on the side of your device to open the boot menu. Simply release the power button once the Samsung logo appears and keep pressing the volume up button until your phone enters the Reboot Mode.
You can see a lot of options appear on the next screen. Remember, you will not be able to navigate the screen with your fingers. Navigation using fingers is prohibited in the Reboot Mode. You have to select the options using the volume up/down buttons and the power button.
Select the Wipe data/factory reset option from the list by pressing the volume up/down buttons. After selecting the option, click the power button to confirm the option.
In the next section, choose the Factory data reset option by pressing the volume down button and confirm your selection by pressing the power button.
All the data and settings saved on your Samsung Galaxy will be deleted by simply pressing the power button.
Your device will automatically reset and restart. It will take some time to complete the resetting process. During the process, kindly do not press any buttons.
