Ericsson, selected by Angola’s Unitel as key supplier of its next-generation 4G/LTE network, says the potential for business in Angola is huge.
Ericsson is responsible for the design and implementation of the LTE network. Ericsson has partnered with Unitel for several years, and signed a five-year agreement with the telco in 2008.
Miguel Martins, Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at Unitel, said: ” Unitel’s 4G LTE network powered by Ericsson demonstrates our commitment to providing our customers with the highest standards of mobile broadband services. Unitel Launched Long Term Evolution (LTE) services commercially on December 16.
