Winner Of The WOW Summit Startup Competition Gets $1 Million In Funding From Dubai-Based Funds
The WOW Summit Dubai Startup Competition is an arena where new crypto companies get the chance to showcase their latest innovations in Web3, and rising stars of the sector are honored.
The top 10 startups were selected from a pool of over a hundred Web3 contenders via a decentralized and inclusive process run by the WOW Community on the online platform Cyrator, which provides an environment for independent reviews, inquiries, and insights that are validated and endorsed by esteemed experts. The nominees were announced after being closely examined by a group of investors who formed the WOW Committee.
The winner of the WOW Summit Dubai Startup Competition was Petale, a tokenized investment fund hoarding from France. The company’s remarkable achievement has brought its MMPro Trust fund and its esteemed investors to the attention of tier-1 investment funds in Dubai, who are currently contemplating investments of up to $1 million in Petale.
Additionally, Petale has been awarded three months of market-making assistance, listing maintenance, and expert trade strategy management from Market Making Pro for winning the WOW Summit Startup Competition.
The competition highlights the event’s commitment to recognizing talent and projects in the sector and providing them with a launchpad to achieve their ultimate goals.
The top 10 projects have been offered a three-month accelerator program through the WOW Growth initiative, complete with comprehensive business development support and guidance on investor relations. The program will offer support for companies across Asia, the MENA region, and Europe, centered in Hong Kong, UAE, and Switzerland.
The WOW Summit and Growth in collaboration with the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) has also launched a program called Ideathon that caters to Web3 startups in the early stages of their operations. The program enables these companies to test their proofs-of-concept and also to discover the right team to bring their innovations to life.
Companies can participate in Ideathon throughout October and November 2023, while its forthcoming hackathon will take place during the WOW Summit in Hong Kong in 2024.

WOW Summit Dubai Featured Art Pieces From Prominent NFT and Digital Artists
The WOW Summit Dubai 2023’s art zone showcased an impressive collection of digital and NFT art by famous artists. The show was headlined by Amritha Sethi, who is recognized as the UAE’s first NFT artist and is considered to be a top-tier physical and digital artist.
For the WOW Summit, Sethi crafted a masterpiece series containing five artworks called “Art and Tech – aibytes”. Her concept was the coming together of human and artificial intelligence technology. She worked with OpenAI’s ChatGPT to craft a poetic narrative of how the world is transitioning from Web2 to Web3 and converted the content into visuals using Midjourney.
Other NFT artists featured at the WOW Summit included Vesa, a pioneer in digital art who is considered to be one of the first artists to delve into crypto art and NFTs. He was the NFT Artist of the Year at the AIBC Summit 2023 and has also received Web3 accolades from L’Officiel Arabia.
The highly anticipated event was a major success and provided attendees with a platform to share knowledge, network, and explore innovations across the Web3 and blockchain industry. The Summit also touched on topics like the transition from Web2 to Web3, regulatory landscapes, CBDCs, asset tokenization, and the impact of blockchain and distributed ledger technology (DLT) on the global population and economy.
